Always looking for sales, we found these plastic martini glasses that light up marked down to a $1 each. Some soaked flower foam formed the base for colorful centerpieces for individual tables at the wedding shower.  Start with fuller flowers, like large carnations in the center. Add another color in a circle around the middle flowers, and then put full, colorful flowers around the base. Simple pinwheels add a playful touch. These can be prepared a day in advance, but because the stems are cut so short and the martini glasses don’t hold much water, lift the entire arrangement and set in a container of water so the stems and flower foam are wet. A couple of hours before the party lift them into the martini glass and you are ready to go.
